About Us

The name “Imancipate” is the powerful combination of two words:

Iman in the Arabic language, which means faith. Emancipate in English which means to be free.

Our mission is simple. We want to serve Muslim men in their transitions and challenges of life and to inspire them to live with the character, purpose and integrity as modeled to us by the best of creation, Muhammad may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him in all areas of their lives.

While the woman may be called the neck that is influential in moving the head, the man who is the head of the family must be present spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically to guide and direct the rest of that body and we want to support him to live as intentionally and fully as possible.

By becoming imancipated, we hope to inspire men to a higher version of themselves where as a man he turns inwards to nurture his heart, towards the Heavens to find deep meaning and fully embraces the task and role of manhood as prescribed through our noble traditions.
